It would be nice to have some discussion/example in the document for REST authentication and security.

I think this would help with adoption.

Add example showing how to secure an application in appendix B.

Add non-normative appendix B.

Appendix B illustrates how security might be added to the example REST for CORBA application described in Appendix A.

It would be good to show a sample simple application that shows use of the REST mapping as proof of concept of use of the spec.

While there are fragments sprinkled in the specification document, a simple application would be useful and ease adoption.
