Chapter: 9.1.1.9
Pages:
Nature: Editorial
Severity: minorDescription:
In 9.1.1.9, the definition of 'projecting formulation' is obscure. How is 'a thing considered with respect to a projection' true or false. It might mean 'x occurs in the set resulting from projection y', but that wouldn't have 3 or 4 confusing subtypes. Or it might mean the set produced by a 'projection' (considered as some kind of function). It seems to be a supertype with no direct usage, e.g. 'semantic formulations that involve projections', and it models several relationships at a uselessly abstract level.
It is said to be a 'logical formulations', but with the possible exception of 'aggregation formulation', the subordinate concepts are not 'logical formulations'.
Recommendation:
Delete the concept 'projecting formulation'.
