SBVR — specification does not address the mapping of rules to MOF and XMI

The specification does not address the mapping of rules to MOF and XMI. The following sections address in detail the mapping of vocabulary to MOF and XMI. It seems to me that – absent equivalent detail about mapping of rules – the goal of effectively interchanging rules may not be achieved.

• Section 13.3, "Vocabulary-to-MOF/XMI Mapping Rule Set" gives rules for mapping vocabulary to MOF and XMI, but ignores the question of mapping rules to MOF and XML.
• Annex K, "Design Rationale Details for the Use of MOF and XMI", contains lots of discussion about the representation of vocabularies in MOF and XMI but mentions rules only in passing.
• Annex L, "Examples of SBVR's Use of MOF" shows how a subset of the EU-Rent vocabulary should be represented in MOF and XMI but again overlooks rules.
