Summary:
The "10 Example Rules" material is a useful reference in training and other
explanatory applications. However, its current presentation makes that
difficult – it is: redundantly presented (leading to some inconsistencies,
and extra work as updates are made), is incomplete (does not reflect the ORM
expression style), and needs other minor updates.Actions needed:
1) Move and consolidate the presentation of the "10 Example Rules" from
Annexes E and F into a new Annex.2) Correct inconsistencies, as needed.
3) Add the expression of each of the 10 rules in ORM notation.
4) Correct the supporting (based on) fact types to match the entries in the
EU-Rent vocabulary (Annex E). -

Disposition: Resolved — SBVR 1.0b2
-
Disposition Summary:
1) It was decided that, rather than consolidate into a single Annex, the material would be kept in individual Annexes (the current EU-Rent Annex E and the RuleSpeak Annex F) and that the 10 Examples in ORM would be added into Annex I.
2) Corrections to the 10 Examples are given below.
3) The ORM version of the 10 Examples replaces the current section "I.3 Some EU-Rent Rule Examples", as provided below.
4) Corrections to the EU-Rent vocabulary for the 'supporting fact types' and 'related facts' used in the 10 Examples are given below. -
