    4.3.3 includes "One use of the extension mechanism might be to associate display information for a particular tool
    with the model class represented by the XML element. Another use might be to transmit data that represents extensions
    to a model." This is no longer a good example since the Diagram Interchange standard provides the proper means to represent dislay information.
