    The first bullet is imprecise, although its intention is reasonably clear. It attempts to impose requirements that cannot be verified easily, or perhaps at all. Replace the bullet with:
    An XMI document shall be “valid” and “well formed”, as defined in the W3C XML Recommendation. If associated with a specific XML schema, then it shall be consistent with that XML schema.
