Summary:
MOF 2.x removed the distinction yet in many places the terms are still used.
In many cases it does not make much difference but in production rule 4b in section 5.2 it states that ‘class attributes’ should precede ‘class references’.
If the distinction is preserved the only sensible interpretation would be to define ‘class reference’ as ‘those Properties of a Class which are association ends i.e. have association not empty.
