The split between Core, DoDAF and MODAF is not intuitive in certain places. Some elements in Core required elements from DoDAF/MODAF to be of any use… Some rationalisation is required…TBD - Add specific examples.

All the elements and constructs should be moved to Core and only aliases kept in the DoDAF/MODAF Only sections. This makes UPDM a more complete profile and keeps the purpose of Core, DoDAF Only and MODAF Only simple. Also, due to feedback from various DoDAF users, it has become apparent that people would like the option to use MODAF concepts in their DoDAF models - ideally with aliases to make the terminology fit with their domains. Unfortunately this is a big change and the impact needs to be investigated thoroughly - therefore this will have to be deferred
