UPDM — SV-2 Missing

SV-2 Missing: For all intents and purposes UPDM does not cover SV-2 as it is specified in MODAF, and probably not in DoDAF either. It is important to understand that SV-2 adds a layer of detail below SV-1 - it is not simply a re-drawing of SV-1. A given resource interaction shown in an SV-1 may be implemented using several system port connections in SV-2b.

Resolution Though this is supported in UPDM, it isn't very obvious. We will make the following changes:Add a new ResourceConnector relationship to go between ResourcePorts.Change ResourceInterfaces to only go between Resources/ResourceRoles (i.e. not Ports).Add a tag to ResourceConnector and ResourceInterface to show which ResourceConnectors "realize" which ResourceInterface. (i.e. add a bi-directional association between the stereotypes)
