Legacy Issue Number: 13376

Status: closed

Summary:
According to the UML 2.1 specification, importing elements into the profile simply make them accessible within the profile namespace, meaning other stereotypes can generalize or refer to those imported stereotypes. However, the import does not define those stereotypes in the profile namespace. When the UPDM profile is applied to a model, only those stereotypes in its namespace can be applied to elements in the model. That means the SysML stereotypes imported into the UPDM profile cannot be applied in the model.
