    this represents the flow of information, materiel, or energy
    between activity nodes (typically, these are Actions). MODAF and DoDAF only cover the flow
    of information between activities. If this is an attempt to replicate the MODAF node
    connector concept, it is a misinterpretation – node connectors are only intended to be
    information flows on OV-2 diagrams – they have no behavioural semantics.
