UPDM — MOD Agreement Issue

This is the agreement we reached with MOD to converge UPDM and MODAF.

MOD will migrate M3 to a formal Mx (name TBD) data model. This is part of MOD’s intent eventually to migrate to IDEAS
MOD will define a standard XML format for exchanging data conforming to the Mx data model.
MOD and UPDM will define a bi-directional algorithmic mapping between UPDM and Mx data model
An additional UPDM compliance point will be defined by a tool’s ability to export and import data that is compliant to the standard Mx data model according to 3, 4 & 5.
UPDM will add an optional, normative section that specifies 6.
A UPDM tool that implements 7 enables a vendor to claim the ability to produce MODAF architectures
