Summary:
Are the names of valuetype initializers introduced into the
scope of a derived valuetype? I'm proposing that they are
not introduced. The implication is that derived valuetypes
are free to reuse the names of base type initializers.Proposed resolution:
Change the last sentence of the first paragraph in 3.8.1.5:
"The names of the initializers are part of the name scope of
the value type, but are not part of the name scope of derived
valuetypes." -
