CORBA24 — Should POA spec examples use string_to_ObjectId?

    As I understand things, string_to_ObjectId is an artifact of the
    C++ POA mapping. It certainly isn't defined in the core POA spec.
    However, some of the example code in the POA spec uses this routine.
    Is this kosher? Shouldn't the relevant examples at least have a
    cross-reference to the C++ mapping?
