BPMN21 — Reference omitted in BPMN 2 11-01-03

  • Key: BPMN21-327
  • Legacy Issue Number: 17069
  • Status: open
  • Source: Object Management Group ( Dr. Jon M. Siegel)
  • Summary:

On page 315, after this sentence about Service Interaction Patterns -

Message exchanges between partners go beyond simple request-response interactions into multi-cast, contingent requests, competing receives, streaming, and other service interaction patterns

    comes the cryptic phrase

    (REF for SIP)

It looks like this is a stand-in for a Reference for Service Interaction Patterns - right?

If so, it might be replace with a footnote referring to this Barros article -
Service Interaction Patterns: Towards a Reference
    Framework for Service-Based Business Process
    Interconnection
