Summary:
There are two types of signs for the Exclusive Gateway. Why? It is better to use only the sign with the ‘X’. Finally it is an eXclusive Gateway
-> Mr. Juergen Boldt answered: "[..] It is left open to the modeler as a matter of taste."
OK.
-> But IMHO BPMN 2.0 is a standard. There is no leeway for matter of taste. I think.
