There are two types of signs for the Exclusive Gateway. Why? It is better to use only the sign with the ‘X’. Finally it is an eXclusive Gateway

-> But IMHO BPMN 2.0 is a standard. There is no leeway for matter of taste. I think.
(Look at the road traffic or specification of your voltage wich comes from your socket. That is no matter of taste. )
