Summary:
i) Chapter/Section 10.8. Page 318. It says:
“For example Figure 10.127 shows a public Process at the top with a Send Task and Receive Task. A supporting private Process is shown at the bottom.”ii) Chapter/Section 10.8. Page 319. Figure 10.127.
Public Process (at the top) consists of a Receive Task followed by a Send Task.iii) Issue 14652: Private process example correction (bpmn2-ftf). It says:
“The private process in Figure 10-122 (One Process supporting to another)
should have activity X and event B in parallel, because event B may
arrive while X is executing, which would be lost in the current example.
See webinar example on slide 51 in bmi/09-06-02.”COMMENTS:
In it is stated that the A must be a Send Task, and B must be a Receive Task.
In (ii) A is a Receive Task, and B is a Send Task. This contradicts .
In (iii) it is stated that the problem with the example was the location of Activity X and Event B in the Private Process, nothing is said about Tasks A and B.
SUGGESTIONS:
Change the types of Tasks in Public Process:
Task A should be a Send Task (filled envelope marker)
Task B should be a Receive Task (unfilled envelope marker) -
