BPMN21 — Participant multi-instance instead of Sub-Choreography multi-instance

  • Key: BPMN21-225
  • Legacy Issue Number: 15732
  • Status: open
  • Source: craftware.net ( Eduardo Jara)
  • Summary:

    i) Chapter/Section 11.4.1. Page 337.It says:
“The marker for a Choreography Task that is multi-instance MUST be a set of three vertical lines”

    ii) Chapter/Section 11.4.2. Page 342.It says:
“The marker for a Sub-Choreography that is multi-instance MUST be a set of three vertical lines.”

    COMMENTS:

describes the use of a multi-instance marker in the Participant Band for a multi-instance Participant (see Figure 11.15, p. 337). Multi-instance marker for the Choreography Task is described on page 336.

(ii) describes the use of a multi-instance marker in the Participant Band for a multi-instance Participant (see Figure 11.23, p. 342). Multi-instance marker for the Sub-Choreography is described on page 341.

    SUGGESTION:

    In it should say:
“The marker for a Participant (of a Choreography Task) that is multi-instance MUST be a set of three vertical lines.”

    In (ii) it should say:
“The marker for a Participant (of a Sub-Choreography) that is multi-instance MUST be a set of three vertical lines.”
