NASA-013: The non normative document (accompanying text) must stipulate the following: The use of XTCE is advocated as being appropriate for data exchange across organizational or product boundaries, but is not required to be adopted as a recommended practice for the internal technical specification of command or telemetry data dictionaries or data streams within a particular system or product
RID RESPONSE:
The OMG cannot mandate the use of any specification - all OMG specifications are recommendations.
We suggest that this language be place in the XTCE Green book or Magenta book.
