Summary:
'range' is a bit confusing again. Use 'intervening distance', so that (temporal) distance is a consistent terminology.
Use 'larger ValueSpecification' or 'ending ValueSpecification' rather than 'maximum value of the range'
Use 'smaller ValueSpecification' or 'starting ValueSpecification' rather than 'minimum value of the range'
