Summary:
This clause states, “The :User sends a message Code and its duration is measured.” I don’t believe it’s meaningful to refer to a message’s duration; neither the Duration metaclass nor the DurationObservation metaclass have an association with the Message metaclass. Rather, the DurationObservation metaclass is associated with 1..2 NamedElements that are the event occurrences on either end of the observation. In the case of a Message, those event occurrences are the “send” and the “receive.” I recommend rewording the excerpted sentence as shown below.

Recommend rewording the sentence as follows: “The :User sends a message Code and the duration between its send and receive occurrences is measured.” -
