Summary:
The spec says
“Alternatively, in place of a textual behavior expression the various Behaviors associated with a State or internal Transition can be expressed using the appropriate graphical representation (e.g., an activity diagram)”.
How would that be shown? As an embedded Activity Diagram in a compartment with the name of the triggers in the left upper corner?Proposed Res Add an example or give more details.

Disposition: Resolved — UML 2.5
-
Disposition Summary:
Rather than come up with some difficult-to-implement nested diagram solution to this, it seems simplest to
clarify that the behavior in such cases would be specified in a separate diagram. Add a clarifying statement to the text. -
