Summary:

Disposition: Resolved — UML 2.5
-
Disposition Summary:
In an instance specification for a structured classifier, the nested rectangles do represent instances playing its roles.
There are several examples in clause 11, and clause 9 refers the reader to them with a hyperlink. Moving the structured
examples to clause 9 would make the forward reference problem worse, not better. The current specification text is
accurate as it stands.
