Summary:
BNF rules allow for a real “0”
-
Reported: UML 2.4.1 — Wed, 26 Sep 2012 04:00 GMT
-
Disposition: Resolved — UML 2.5
-
Disposition Summary:
That is true. After all, “0” is a real number. In fact, the BNF allows any natural-literal to be used as a real-literal.
The textual syntax for real-literals is provided for the purpose of displaying LiteralReals in a model, and there is no
requirement that it be unambiguously parsable as a means of entry of literals by a tool.
