UML25 — Two categories is not enough

    Using only 2 semantic categories forces Use Cases into the Behavioral semantics category, which is not appropriate by the definition. An additional category of Intentional, Goal, or Requirement Semantics is needed to cover the Use cases. This is supported by the Use Cases clause not being in the behavior section of the document.

    Making this change will probably required changes to the diagram of diagrams in Appendix A and Figure 6.1 below. However as these are only explanatory (not normative) they should not impact users, except to make it more understandable.
