Summary:
In figure 14.2, the Start Vehicle use case is considered an extension to the Drive the vehicle Use Case.
By no means does it appear optional to start the vehicle to drive it. Certainly, it’s no less optional than Steer or Break.
Most modelers, both software engineers and system engineers, would model, Start as an included Use Case not an extension.
Please find a better example.
