  1. OMG Issue

SYSML — figure 11-14

  • Key: SYSML-32
  • Legacy Issue Number: 9792
  • Status: closed
  • Source: The MathWorks ( Mr. Alan Moore)
  • Summary:

"If we use the pin notations for object flows does the user have to allocate both pins, bear in mind that two or more object flows may start or end at a given pin so in order to designate the precise object flow you need both ends.

    • From the item flow end does the user get a choice of pins (the actual elements in the model) or object node symbols (which may or may not exist on the activity diagram depending on whether pins are shown).
    • When the type name is shown in the allocatedFrom compartment, e.g. <<objectNode>>dirtywater, what should the typename be - either the tool derives it from the type of the allocated element (which is tricky because there are two elements with different type), or we explicitly list what the type name should be under which circumstances.
