Summary:
Undefined Types
Issue: There are three types used in the Communications Equipment section of
the PIM/PSM for SWRadio that are undefined (which need basic type
definition):1. AmplitudePhaseResponse: The amplitudePhaseResponse attribute gives the
amplitude/phase response plot for the device. The amplitude phase response
contains two components. The first component is a representation of the
output power versus the input power. The second component is a
representation of the output phase versus input power. The purpose of the
amplitude phase response is to describe any active element which cannot be
described by an ideal relationship (non linearities) e.g.: Power Amplifier.2. Radiation: Information about a specific radiation environment.
3. SwitchSetting: Indicates the connections between the switch's ports.
Proposed Solution: In discussion with other members of the FTF, it is felt
that subject matter experts in these areas (particularly the original
authors) could evaluate the context of these types and recommend the correct
definition. -
