Legacy Issue Number: 7742
-
Status: closed
-
Source: Raytheon ( Jerry Bickle)
-
Summary:
Issue: The UML Profile does not clearly state what is M1 and M2 data for
the UML Profile for SWRadio.
Recommendation:
Add the following statement in the UML Profile for SWRadio section. "M1
instances in the UML Profile for SWRadio is M2 data. This means specific
operation names (e.g., configure for PropertySet interface) or attribute
names (e.g., enabledLogLevels for SWRadioComponent) stated for a component
or interface is M2 data. Extensions of UML metaclasses such as interface
(e.g., PropertySet), component (e.g., ResourceComponent), and device (e.g.,
CommunicationEquipment) are M1 elements."This statement could also be stated in the compliance section for
implementations of the profile for tool providers. -
