Summary:
Artifacts e.g. documentation, test results, components are often organized into subsets (of all artifacts) and subsuming subsets and these sets given labels and treated for some purposes as units. EvidenceElements and InformationElements are not shown as being possible to structure in this way (say by a looped composition or association “arrow”). Some structuring mechanism is needed for this.
In addition, non-hierarchical structures also have uses
