RAAML — UML profile cf. Metamodel

A relationship of GSN to the SACM metamodel has been developed and is publicly available. It is not clear why the GSN UML profile is required separately to this metamodel, what relationship or utility is intended

"Add a statement to the introduction of the GSN UML profile section to explain that whilst GSN is an extension of the OMG SACM 2.1 standard, which has a defined meta-model based on the OMG MOF standard, the objectives of RAAML to integrate with SysML 1.5 & 1.6 necessitate the use of a UML profile interpretation of the GSN standard. In doing this there are certain design choices born out of the constraints of conforming to UML that may be considered imperfect from a pure GSN implementation point of view."
