Summary:
There is a user need to model FTA's in the IBD view directly, which may be covered by tool vendor implementation, but in addition there is the need to take elements from other analyses and tie them to elements in the FTA directly. RAAML allows this but the icons are lost from the initial FTA element when they are typed by other elements (for example: Failure Mode). This has been demonstrated in the FTA and FMEA cross analysis use case where FTA IBD elements are typed by FMEA elements.
