In general most operations in the whole specification are redundant since they are merely the accessors of the properties. Such operations are never explicitly documented

Keep the operations that correspond to derived properties

Keep the operations that correspond to derived properties. These operations are defined in packages Core and Kdm. They represent the high-level api to the kdm models. Since each model redefines and/or subsets some of these derived properties to provide a large, strongly typed api, that determines the structure of the XMI, the high-level properties are only represented by the operations.
