  • Key: KDM12-54
  • Legacy Issue Number: 13302
  • Status: closed
  • Source: KDM Analytics ( Dr. Nikolai Mansourov)
  • Summary:

    Related to 11.1

"Engineering view", logical view" and "developers view" should be defined

Views should have definitions USUALLY as viewpoints

  • Reported: KDM 1.1 — Fri, 16 Jan 2009 05:00 GMT
  • Disposition: Resolved — KDM 1.2
  • Disposition Summary:

Remove references to these “views” (they are actually viewpoints, according to ISO 42010), since
each KDM model explicitly defines an architecture viewpoint.
    Engineering view:
Editorial changes are provided as part of the resolution to issue 13296
    Logical view:
Editorial changes are provided as part of the resolution to issue 13296
    Developers view:
Change sentence Page 113, Ignore the generated primary code, provide a high-fidelity representation to
the embedded construct; the embedded construct is the origin and the target of KDM relationships; some
details of how the embedded construct is expanded into the primary code may not be recovered from the
KDM representation (but in general, the embedded construct provides a better representation, since it is the
    view that developers have).
