Summary:
Specification: DTV v1.0
Title: incorrect reference schemes for time point sequenceSummary:
In clause 8.7, the last two reference schemes for a time point sequence are incomplete, because they are misworded. They read:
Reference Scheme: The first time point of the time point sequence, if the time point sequence has no last time point.
Reference Scheme: The last time point of the time point sequence, if the time point sequence has no first time point. The problem is that the first time point of the time point sequence ALONE is not sufficient, whether the time point sequence has a last time point or not. When it has no last point, the fact that it has no last point must be a characteristic that is included in the reference scheme.
The Reference Scheme should be worded:
The first time point of the time point sequence and the characteristic ' the time point sequence has no last time point'.
and similarly for the sequence that has no first time point. -
