Summary:
The specification provides no way to way to specify a different history depth used for DURABILITY than the used for reliability...
The HISTORY depth is sometimes needed for reliability in order to accommodate bursts. But this means that the amount of data kept for DURABILITY is affected.
What is desirable is to have a setting that allows the DURABILITY depth to be decoupled from the RELIABILITY.
