Summary:
The description of DataWriter::dispose needs to clarify whether it can be called with a nil handle.
Proposed Resolution:
DataWriter::dispose should just behave like DataWriter::write in that if the instance is not yet registered, the Service will automatically register it for the user. In that case, the operation should not return PRECONDITION_NOT_MET.Proposed Revised Text:
The second-to-last paragraph in section 2.1.2.4.2.12 states "The operation must be only called on registered instances. Otherwise the operation will return the error PRECONDITION_NOT_MET." This paragraph should be removed. -
