Summary:
It is not clear how the value of a char constant should be expressed in a query expression.
Resolution:
Clarify that a char constant in a query expression must be places between single quotes.
Revised Text:
Add a bullet to Appendix B in the section "Token expression" where the char constant is introduced and where is explained how it should be defined (between single quotes, just like the tring).
Keep Appendix C inline with this as well -
