    Section 2.1.1.2.2 states: "At the DCPS level, data types represent information that is sent atomically. For performance reasons, only plain data structures are handled by this level." It is not clear what "plain data structures" means.

    Proposed Resolution:
    Remove the second sentence quoted above from the specification.

    Proposed Revised Text:
    Remove the sentence "For performance reasons, only plain data structures are handled by this level" from section 2.1.1.2.2, page 2-7.
