Summary:
Issue# 2085 Navigation_of_connectivity_information Issue [Boeing SOSCOE] ? There is no way to use the DDS API to find some of the information that is available internally to the service. ? For example there is no way to determine & enumerate the remote readers that are “associated” with a local writer, or the remote writers associated with a local reader. ? The DDS specification does provide a way to “name/identify” the remote entities. This is the DCPSKey that appears as part of the fields of the built-in-topics which are the ones used to access discovery information on remote entities. Proposal [Boeing SOSCOE] ? Add iterators to the DataReader and DataWriter entities that allow enumerating the remote entities (identified by DCPSKey) associated with it. ? Add helper operations that allow determining the QoS associated with remote entities (identified by DCPSKey)
