"The Code Generation activity is to generate Implementation Code. In this activity source code to be implemented in the target CPU is generated. It generates actually implemented Code as opposed to Auto-Coding results which cannot be flashed into the target CPU because CPU size constraints and poor failure mode implementation. "
Auto-coding can provide the correct code if the auto-generator is configured correctly. I have done so on several projects. -
