Summary:
Summary: An abstract interface type in an operation signature indicates that
at runtime the value passed will either be an object reference or a
valuetype. However, it is possible for user code invoking this
operation to supply (incorrectly) a runtime programming language object
that is neither of these. For example, an IDL abstract interface type
maps into a Java interface, and the object passed at runtime could be
any Java type that implements this interface. The spec does not currently define an exception to be used in this
error case. The Java to IDL mapping needs a defined exception so that
it can detect this error and return a NotSerializableException to the
application. -
