Summary:
Summary: Section 3.9.2 has the following problems:
No rules for combining floats are given, although double and long double types are mentioned.
The rules for sizing intermediate forms of constant expressions that must result in an octet type
are unspecified. The size a positive integer constant is required to have is not specified; I imagine it should be
restricted to (at most) an "unsigned long" size, as larger sizes would not make valid array indices
in several languages. -
