Summary:
Summary: If we accept 2 above, we may want to revisit the following:
– 8.8.2, page 8-104, bullet 4:
"Inserting an abstract interface reference into a CORBA::Any
operates polymorphically. Either the object reference or value to
which the abstract interface reference refers is what actually gets
inserted into the Any. This is because there is no TypeCode for
abstract interfaces. Since abstract interfaces can not be inserted into
an Any, there is no need for abstract interface extraction operators." -
