Summary:
Summary: Firstly, in Section 3.10.2, "Parameter Declarations" on
page 3-32, the last paragraph states:When an unbounded string or sequence is passed as an
inout parameter, the returned value cannot be longer
than the input value. This seems like an undesirable and unnecessary restriction to me.
Is there any chance that you could remove this restriction in a
future version of the specification? Alternatively, if there is
a good reason for this restriction then perhaps you could document
it in a future revision of the specification. -
