Summary:
Summary: 10. Define two new operations on TypeCodes:
pseudo interface TypeCode
{ ... TypeCode get_compact_typecode(); TypeCode get_canonical_typecode(); ... };
TypeCode::get_compact_typecode() strips out all optional name & member
name fields. TypeCode::get_canonical_typecode() looks up the TypeCode
in the Interface Repository and returns the fully fleshed-out TypeCode.
If the top level TypeCode does not contain a RepositoryId, (such as
array and sequence TypeCodes, or TypeCodes from older ORBs), then a new
TypeCode is constructed by calling TypeCode::get_canonical_typecode() on
each member TypeCode of the original TypeCode. If the Interface
Repository is unavailable, or does not contain the information needed,
the call raises the INTF_REPOS system exception. -
