    ORBid strings other than the empty string are intended to be used
    to uniquely identify each ORB used within the same address space
    in a multi-ORB application.

    I don"t believe this is possible, mainly because the language mappings
    do not permit multiple ORB run-time libraries to be linked into the same
    address space.
