C2MS12 — Some examples of Subject Subscriptions use Wrong Form

  • Key: C2MS12-162
  • Status: open
  • Source: Kratos RT Logic, Inc. ( Mr. Mike Anderson)
  • Summary:

According to Section "6.2.2 Format of C2MS Subject Names", particularly:

    • "Table 6-2 Asterisk, Greater Than, and Plus Sign Wildcard Syntax Examples" and
    • "Table 6-3. Subject Name Matching Examples"
The trailing '>' character means one or more, while trailing '+' character means zero or more.

However, in the subject subscription examples provided of subjects in each message's description, many examples use '>' when they should use '+'.

One example is found Simpler Service Messages.

Additionally, some have an improper space character between the last period and the '>' '*' or '+' character, which is incorrect. See Log Message as an example.

Need to review all these and then offer correction.
