BPMN21 — Ad-Hoc Sub-Process falsely listed as

  • Key: BPMN21-443
  • Status: open
  • Source: oose Innovative Informatik eG ( Mr. Axel Scheithauer)
  • Summary:

There is a list of non-operational elements in the introduction to the section *13. BPMN Execution Semantics. The Ad-Hoc Process is in the list. However, in chapter **13.3.5 Ad-Hoc Sub-Process* its execution semantics is described in detail. So, I think the "details needed to execute them on an engine" are given. It seems, the Ad-Hoc Sub-Process is in fact operational and should be removed from the list.

PS: There is no "Ad-Hoc Process". The "Sub-" is missing.
