Summary:
Section 10.5.6 (pg 306) talks about the Parallel Event Based Gateway and introduces new notation for it (Figure 10.115). But that concept and notation doesn't appear in other parts of the document.
I would expect to see it in Section 7.2.2 (pg 56) and also in Figure 10.99 (pg 294). Otherwise, it would be extremely easy to miss this new capability.

In Table 7.2 (BPMN Extended Modeling Elements):
- in the row with left column containing "Gateway Control Types", in
the right column, to the right of the symbol for Event-Based,
insert the symbol in Figure 10.115 (Parallel Event-Based Gateway to
start a Process). - in the row with left column containing "Event-Based":
- in the middle column, at the end, add the paragraph:
Parallel Event-based gateways start a new instance of the
process. - in the right column, at the bottom, insert a copy of the
subfigure at the top of the column, except replace the diamond
shape with the symbol in Figure 10.115 (Parallel Event-Based
Gateway to start a Process), and remove the rounded rectangle
and the arrow going out of it.
In Figure 10.99 (The Different types of Gateways), to the right of the
symbol for Event-Based, insert the symbol in Figure 10.115 (Parallel
Event-Based Gateway to start a Process).
